Billing Specialist

Job Description: 

Collect weekly billing including transportation logs, from all components and ensure all clinical staff has submitted billing. Compare billing sheets ,submit billing in batches, notify all clinicians on billing statuses, follow up on all denied billings and submit billing adjustments forms to Region 10. In addition, provide weekly summaries. Work with the treatment administrator for accurate documentation in the transportation logs and timely submission of the logs.Submit 3rd party billing as assigned and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School degree, Billing Certification or Associate’s degree preferred.1 year experience in substance abuse field. Ability to communicate effectively.Good Clerical/Organizational Skills.Computer Skills.

Clinician

Job Description: 

Part Time. An individual is needed to facilitate counseling/treatment therapy for individuals currently participating in substance use disorder treatment services.

Requirements:

At least three (3) years of clinical work experience is preferred with two (2) of those years of experience working in the substance use treatment or related field preferred.  Qualified candidates must be eligible to apply for CADC/CAADC certification within 3 months of hire.

Drive all appointments during scheduled time frames. Flex schedule to meet the need of appointments.Complete maintenance on all facility vehicles.Drop off and pick up prescriptions from the pharmacy as needed.Keep a log on each vehicle regarding mileage and submit to Treatment Administrator weekly. Keep a record in each vehicle regarding daily maintenance checks and repairs. Submit purchase orders for the van maintenance and repairs. Oversee all vehicle repairs. Oversee cleanliness of all vehicles.Gas up vehicles as needed.Attend staff meeting when requested by supervisor. Participate in training related to motivational enhancement techniques and co-occurring services.Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience working as driver and working with at-risk

Job Description: 

Obtains and records client's health history; performs comprehensive physical assessment (including biological, social and psychiatric needs) as part of a total physical examination.
Diagnoses, treats and plans appropriate health care for clients in the area of primary care; refers clients to physicians and/or outside agencies as required.Provides and prescribes medications within area of specialty.Performs laboratory procedures and interprets lab test results.Oversee and manage the detox unit, including being on call for the program. Provides group, individual and community education classes on health concerns as assigned. Establishes and maintains client’s electronic medical records and other necessary records.Provides in-service education classes on assigned responsibilities for nursing Staff and/or clinical staff.Be a part of the safety and health committee to ensure medical input. Attend all scheduled Family Focus and Staff Meeting weekly. Will utilize Motivational Enhance Techniques and participate in training related to co-occurring disorder services. Oversee the day to day operations of the Medical Department and supervisor staff in the Department Assist with the development of revised or new medical policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Master's degree in nursing; completion of a state acceptable Nurse Practitioner's program; a minimum of one year’s experience is desirable. National certification in specialty is preferred. Necessary special requirements: Licensed by the State of Michigan as a Nurse Practitioner; Prescriptive privileges.
