Clinical Coordinator

Job Description: 

Provide individual, group therapy, and case management for assigned clients (Residential/Out-patient). Submit weekly billing to the accounting department for all client on case load, indcluding individual services provided to Out Patient clients. Identify and develop solutions to overcome any problems that might interfere with the delivery of services and the atmosphere of the overall environment. Respond to basic client needs in the Program. Develop and maintain positive role modeling for program clients. Complete Assessments on clients coming into residential, including SUD and MH diagnosis and treatment recomendations. Documentation of all clinical interventions and emergency situations. Attend staff meetings/Family Focus/Case Managers Meetings. Coordinate/oversee all activities related to the program to ensure progress, safety and continuity of care. Develop and update master treatment plans for assigned clients and work with other clinical staff on the development of plans of service. Participate in the orientation of new staff to the Odyssey House method of treatment, house rules, clinical activities, paperwork, schedules, etc. Will utilize Motivational Enhance Techniques. Assure to a welcoming atmosphere for all clients entering the program. Participate in training related to co-occurring disorder services. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Master's degree and CADC/CAADC or Registered Development Plan for CADC with MCBAP within 30 days of hire. Two years experience as a counselor in the substance abuse field.

Maintenance Person

Job Description: 

Conduct/Document daily house runs at all properties (Marian Hall, Strive, HAC, Supportive Housing Units) assuring that the facility is safe and orderly.Review Maintenancce Work Orders/Work Log daily with Supervisor to determine the order of work to be done. Return Work Order Forms to supervisor when work is completed.Responsible for or oversee the lawn care of all properties including: mowing the lawn, watering, shrubbery care, flower planting and care, fence maintenance and repair, etc. Conduct repairs at all sites incduing: paint, minor repairs to sinks, walls, porches, lighting, flooring, etc. Assist Supervisors with conducting and documenting Quarterly internal Health & Safety inspections and Annual external fire inspections of all Odyssey House Poperties. Particpate as part of the Health Safety Committee that meets monthly. Serve as a role model for clients and utilize Odyssey House residents on maintenance crew to assit with all work in an effort to teach new skills and positive work ethic.Attend staff meetings and other meetings as assigned.(9) Utilize motivational enhancement techniques and participate in training related to co-occurring disorder services. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experinece in Maintenance and Repair. CADC or Register a Development Plan for CADC with MCBAP. Knowledge of Therapeutic Community Model of Treatment

Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Job Description: 

Select, organize and coordinate recreational activites in the community.Assist clients with the development of a recovery management plan.Assist residents in developing a recovery support network by providing resources and/or assisting with meeting attendance.Respond to basic client needs for program residents. Conduct weekly house runs, assuring that the housing is safe and orderly and document in client record. Serve as a role model for clients. Attend staff meetings and other meetings as assigned. Attend all scheduled team meetings.Monitor and document resident progress in case record. Facilitate random weekly drug screens.Will utilize Motivational Enhance Techniques and participate in training related to co-occurring disorder services. Ensure a Welcoming astmosphere. Provide transportation as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Requirements:

Therapuetic Community Experience. Expereince with Recovery Support Groups. Knowledgeable of a variety of area support group meetings CADC Development Plan within 1 week of employment.

Billing Specialist

Collect weekly billing including transportation logs, from all components and ensure all clinical staff has submitted billing. Compare billing sheets ,submit billing in batches, notify all clinicians on billing statuses, follow up on all denied billings and submit billing adjustments forms to Region 10. In addition, provide weekly summaries. Work with the treatment administrator for accurate documentation in the transportation logs and timely submission of the logs.Submit 3rd party billing as assigned and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School degree, Billing Certification or Associate’s degree preferred.1 year experience in substance abuse field. Ability to communicate effectively.Good Clerical/Organizational Skills.Computer Skills.

Job Description: 

Obtains and records client's health history; performs comprehensive physical assessment (including biological, social and psychiatric needs) as part of a total physical examination.
Diagnoses, treats and plans appropriate health care for clients in the area of primary care; refers clients to physicians and/or outside agencies as required.Provides and prescribes medications within area of specialty.Performs laboratory procedures and interprets lab test results.Oversee and manage the detox unit, including being on call for the program. Provides group, individual and community education classes on health concerns as assigned. Establishes and maintains client’s electronic medical records and other necessary records.Provides in-service education classes on assigned responsibilities for nursing Staff and/or clinical staff.Be a part of the safety and health committee to ensure medical input. Attend all scheduled Family Focus and Staff Meeting weekly. Will utilize Motivational Enhance Techniques and participate in training related to co-occurring disorder services. Oversee the day to day operations of the Medical Department and supervisor staff in the Department Assist with the development of revised or new medical policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Master's degree in nursing; completion of a state acceptable Nurse Practitioner's program; a minimum of one year’s experience is desirable. National certification in specialty is preferred. Necessary special requirements: Licensed by the State of Michigan as a Nurse Practitioner; Prescriptive privileges.
