Flint Odyssey Tour

Admissions

We realize this can seem overwhelming. When you call, one of our admissions specialists will ask you some questions about your situation to start assessing whether Odyssey House Residential Treatment Center might help.  During the screening, the admissions counselor will ask about your current symptoms and challenges, past treatment history and social support system.   Business hours are Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm, but intakes can be scheduled any time or any day as needed.

Dining

Work therapy is central to the therapeutic community model of treatment as meaningful activity in a healthy environment and helps foster recovery and reintegration into the community. Each day residents are required to participate in one of the therapeutic work teams; which includes working in the kitchen and dining areas.  At Odyssey House all meals are prepared by residents under the supervision of a program graduate.

Medical

During the medical intake process the medical department will determine each individual’s needs. The Nurse Practitioner provides primary medical care for all adult clients in the residential program and ensures that that all pregnant women and all children not already linked to prenatal care will be set up with such in the Flint community.
